LeBron James says he will join other NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony for a game in Baltimore on Tuesday.

“I am,” James said Sunday.

The game is perhaps the largest yet in a summer exhibition series with players who are waiting for the lockout in the NBA in order. Durant has been the focus of many of these encounters, scoring 66 points a night at the famous Rucker Park in New York and later head of the Goodman League of Washington to a 135-134 victory over the League pulled out of Los Angeles.

James, Paul and Anthony are scheduled to be on the same team on Tuesday.

Anthony is a native of Baltimore, and proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity, the star of the New York Knicks are involved.

In news that provides a sliver of optimism for the NBA’s labor situation, a collective-bargaining meeting of top-level executives is expected to take place on Monday, ESPN.com reports.

It would be the first such session since the lockout was enacted on July 1.

NBA commissioner David Stern, NBPA executive director Billy Hunter and their top executives — including deputy commissioner Adam Silver, Spurs owner and head of the league’s negotiating committee Peter Holt and union president Derek Fisher — are expected to participate, the website reports.

Hunter, in an USA Today profile, still sounds pessimistic about a deal getting done anytime soon. “They presented (their latest) proposal knowing that there’s no way I could or would accept, and they haven’t moved,” Hunter said.

“Let’s call it like it is. It was never their intent to negotiate in good faith, and they haven’t negotiated in good faith. …”"I’m convinced we’re going to get a deal at some point, but I don’t know what the toll will be,” he added.
